Obituary: Olean Times Herald, Thursday 11/15/1956:

Charles B. Buck
Charles B. Buck, 930 Crown St., died Wednesday (Nov. 14, 1956) at the Olean General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 29, 1878 at Maple Hill, Pa., and had been a resident of Olean for the past 33 years.
He was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad, having retired after 42 years service. He was a member of Peoples Methodist Church.
Mr. Buck was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Sterner Buck, a daughter, Mrs. Karl Warters, Allegany, two grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Mazie Johnson, Philadelphia, two brothers, Nelson Buck, Montgomery, Pa., and Glenn Buck, Syracuse.
The body has been removed to the Hogan Funeral Home where friends may call and from where funeral services will be conducted Saturday, (Nov. 17, 1956) at 2 p.m.
Rev. Henry J. Marquis, pastor of Peoples Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
