Their first child, James Brown Lewis, was b. 17 Sep 1818, Jefferson Co., Alabama. They returned to Tennessee by 1825, as their youngest child, "Doc" Joshua Lewis, was born there that year.
In 1828, Abigail and her family came and settled in the Lonedell area, Franklin Co., MO, where they soon bought land.
Daniel died in 1844. Abigail was listed on the 1850 census living with son Joshua and his family.
She probably died sometime between 1850 and 1860, as she hasn't been found on the 1860 census. According to family tradition, she's buried with her husband and son Joshua in the Old Hamilton cemetery.
