Freemont Milleson, an old and respected citizen of this community passed away Saturday evening at his home east of town pneumonia being the cause of his death. His illness was of brief duration, extending over only a few days.
Deceased was born in Fulton county, Ill., Sept 15, 1856, and at the time of his death was aged 63 years, 5 months and 13 days. His father was killed at the battle of Vicksburg. His wife, three sons and four daughters preceded him to the better world. One son, Clyde, and one daughter, Arzelda Hoefle, both of Kansas City, Mo., are all that is left of his family.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Memory cemetery, conducted by Rev Wilson. NEW MARKET HERALD, Mar 4, 1920
