Detective Inspector W. D. Miller today ruled out suicide in the death plunge of Lieutenant Robert E. Jay of Abilene, Tex., from the roof of Peabody Hotel Tuesday night. Miller revised his earlier report that the flier leaped from the roof and said Jay "apparently slipped from a narrow ledge" in the deserted dance hall atop the hotel as he attempted to hide from military police.
