Death of Thos. D. Grant
Lancaster - An old and esteemed resident of this district, Mr. Thomas
D. Grant, passed away at his home, 3rd, Concession, Lancaster, on
Wednesday, December 28th,. The deceased who was seventy-five years
of age, was the youngest son of the late Donald F. Grant and his wife
Barbara Ross, and spent practically all his life on the old homestead
where he died. Surviving are one brother, Alexander Grant, of 3rd
Con. and one sister, Mrs. Duncan Fraser, Rainy River, Ont. The
funeral was held on Friday afternoon from his late residence to St.
Andrew's Cemetery, South Lancaster, Rev. L. H. Fowler officiated.
The pallbearers were Messrs, George Wightman, D. J. McLennan,
R. J. Pattingale, Arthur? Secours, Scott Fraser and R. D. McNaughton.
