DONALD GRANT
We much regret to record the death of Donald Grant, which sad event
took place on Wednesday, the 16th inst. The deceased was born in Glen
Morrison, Invernesshire, Scotland, and came to this country with his
parents when only nine years old, they settled for a short time near
Martintown and finally settled in this locality, where the deceased
spent his life time. For nearly seventy-four years he was on the
present homestead and at the time of his death was eighty - two years
and ten months of age. The funeral on Friday to South Lancaster was
largely attended by friends and neighbours. The Rev. C. E. Gordon-
Smith and Mr. Watson conducted the funeral services. We extend our
sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
