Miss Jennie Sarah Kenworthy was born May 25, 1865, and passed away Sunday, Nov 10, 1929, at the age of 64 years, 5 months, and 15 days.

In 1886 she was married to S.B. Whitney. To this union eight children were born: Brady and Clyde, of Oklahoma; Boyston and Alva, of Villisca; Thomas, of Yorktown; Mabel Loft of Clarinda; Dorothy Cameron of New Market, and Lucille Fine of Braddyville. In later years she was married to N.A. Kight of Clarinda. She leaves to mourn besides the husband and children, an aged father, four sisters, three brothers, and fourteen grandchildren.

She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, an active worker in the community in which she lived.

She was a kind and loving mother always ready to help others in time of need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services for Mrs Kight took place at the church in Hepburn at 2 pm Tuesday. Interment was made at 4 pm at the Old Memoy cemetery near New Market. CLARINDA JOURNAL, Clarinda, Iowa, Nov 14, 1929
