GEORGIA BLANTON - Leonard - Service for Mrs. Georgia Eva Blanton of Blanton's Chapel Community, 72, housewife who died Wednesday at a Greenville hospital following a sudden illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Blanton's Chapel's Methodist Church, conducted byConnie Hollis, the Rev. George Wilcoxon and the Rev. David Riley. Burial will be at the Leonard Cemetery under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home. She was born in Nelleton, Miss, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bolton Mullins. She was a member of the Blanton Methodist Church for 54 years. She married Lois Blanton on December 20, 1924 in Leonard. Surviving are her husband; sisters, Mrs. Jack Taylor of Dorchester and Mrs. Carl Weatherman of Sherman. Pallbearers are Thomas Blanton, John Charles Blanton, Billy Mack Taylor, S.B. Tolbert,Corney Wilson and Timothy Dan Hancock. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
