June Rose Knobel, 81 passed away peacefully at Wyoming Medical Center on April 8, 2011 after a long illness. She was born June 4, 1929 in Broomfield Co. to James Herbert Leslie Norman and Gladys Agness (Sommerfield) Norman. At two weeks old her family moved to Casper where she spent the rest of her life. She married Donald C. Knobel June 7,1947.They had four children.
She is survived by her husband, Don and children, Donna (Rick) Methena, Ken (Cheryl) Knobel, Tom (Bev) Knobel, Bill (Crystal) Knobel and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister Lucille Flores of Sparks, NV and brother, James Norman of Casper. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Vera, brother, Herbert and grandchildren, Scott Smith and Max Neely Jr.
A memorial service will be held Thursday April 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Casper Humane, Hospice or the donor's favorite choice.
