Columbus C. Hiatt died last Saturday at his home in East River township, about one mile south of Memory, of Bright's disease. He was an old settler of East River township, a splendid man, highly respected. He leaves a widow and children, one of the latter being Mrs Kemp Herron of Clarinda.
