Beth Carson Bramlett died on January 29th at age 74. A native Texan, she was born in Center on September 15, 1927.
Surviving is her devoted husband, Robert S. Bramlett, and two children. Daughter, Rebecca Braverman and husband, Howard, live in Hollywood, Florida; son, Russell D. Bramlett and wife, Wendy, live in Boulder, Colorado. Five grandchildren include Sandra and Andrea Braverman and Ryan and Marissa Bramlett. Granddaughter, Leslie Bramlett, daughter of deceased son, Robert Carson Bramlett, lives in Houston with her mother, Linda Bramlett Stewart.
Beth grew up in Longview, Texas and attended T.S.C.W. She married Robert S. Bramlett, also from Longview, on Dec. 23, 1945 and enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Beth's life was greatly fulfilled through her wonderful love and care of her parents, husband, children, and grandchildren, and extended family of friends. She was also active in the church and various community activities and was loved by all.
A memorial service will be held at the Coldspring United Methodist Church, 2:00 PM, Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, and committal of cremains will take place at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in honor of their beloved wife, mom, and grandmother be made to the Coldspring United Methodist Church.
