Marie F. Baton, 97, of Rodman St., South Kingstown, died Friday. She was the wife of the late William N. Baton. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano "Tommy" and Pasqualina "Lena" (Mastrostefano) Faella.
She was the mother of William N. Baton Jr. of Annapolis, MD, Michael Baton, and the late Peggy Corcoran; sister of Anthony Faella, Ann Caswell, all of South Kingstown, Louise Chappell, Grace Yemma and Anna Perry all of Florida; grandmother of five and great grandmother of seven.
Mrs. Baton worked at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and the University of Rhode Island before retiring.
A memorial service was held at a later date.
