Age 86, daughter of the late Henry and Ida Kuffer Zimmer. She worked years ago at the former Brown's Dairy Isle in Waterford and also Marx Toys. She was active in several organizations, serving as a leader for 11 years in the Waterford 4-H Club. She held different offices in the Waterford Grange and served for four years in the Home Economics Department of the Pennsylvania State Grange. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Waterford.
She was preceded in death on Nov. 8, 2000, by her husband, Clifford C. Haynes, whom she married Jan. 25, 1941; a sister, Emma Zimmer; and an infant sister.
Survivors include five daughters, Annice Marie Harris (Paul), Dorothy Jean Hecker (Roger), Kathleen Kay Perkins and Christy Lee Roth (Norman), all of Waterford, and Sharon Luella Soboski of Mesa, Ariz.; a son, Alan Charles Haynes (Ruth), of Waterford; a sister, Marie McCray of Erie; three brothers, Harrison Zimmer (Marie), Leonard Zimmer (Mary) and Henry Zimmer (Dorothy), all of McKean; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
