Marie worked at the Millcreek School District as a baker in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Church Circle and West Lake Fire Department Auxiliary. She loved being outdoors and gardening, playing cards and was known for baking great pies.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James C. McCray; sisters, Luella Haynes, and infant Emma; and two brothers, Leonard and Harrison Zimmer.
She is survived by her son, James Scott McCray and wife Kim of McKean; her two daughters, Marilyn Carner and husband Shawn of Millcreek and Carol McCray of Millcreek; two grandchildren; and her great grandson. She is further survived by a brother Henry "Hank" Zimmer Jr. and his wife Dorothy and many nieces and nephews.
Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
