Mrs. Amanda Bell, aged 40 years, dropped dead at her home, 2561 Jones street, Thursday morning. Mrs. Bell gave birth to a child about two weeks ago and had apparently recovered. She had resumed her household duties and Thursday morning was talking with a woman friend and suddenly fell dead. A physician happened to make a call at the house at the moment and though rendering every possible assistance it was with no avail. The cause of death is attributed to heart disease.
