Adam Alonzo Elbert, 82, retired coach cleaner for the Wabash railroad, died Sunday of a stroke at his home following a two weeks' illness.
Born Nov. 1, 1857, at Columbus, O., Mr. Elbert had been a resident of Council Bluffs for thirty years.
He is survived by his widow, Teresa; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Collins, South Gate, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Hokanson, Omaha; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Sinhold, Omaha; and a niece, Mrs. Edith Tark, Omaha.
The body is at the Cutler mortuary.

Funeral Wednesday, 2 p.m. in Cutler's Chapel. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha, Neb. Cutler's funeral home is in charge.
