Floyd EYESTONE, 84, was born at Martinsburg, Iowa, Aug. 16, 1883, son of Theodore and Molly McCREERY EYESTONE; reared and educated in the Martinsburg community. Died Thurs. at Rock Island, Ill. Bur. Evergreen Cemetery. Married, Dec. 18, 1907, Ethel BEALE who survives. They operated a farm in the Fairfield area until 1944 at which time they moved to Rock Island to make their home with a daughter and family. In recent years EYESTONE has been employed as custodian at a grade school in Rock Island. Member First Methodist church there.

Survived by wife and one daughter, Mrs. Milton WERNER, Rock Island; one son, Bernard, Waterloo; two grandsons; 3 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frank DUSTIN, Fairfield, and Mrs. Bess ARMSTRONG, Libertyville, and a brother, Fred EYESTONE, Nashua, Minn. He was preceded in death by one brother and a sister.
