Mrs. Elizabeth Scott Derrick, a native of Monroe, Ind., died at her home in Detroit, Monday, Sept. 30. She was born in Monroe, Sept. 16, 1867, and was a daughter of James J. and Anna (Miller) Scott. She was married to Jesse F. Derrick, Feb. 10, 1885.

Survivors are the husband, one son, Oscar F. Derrick, of Detroit; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Shad, of Syracuse, N. Y.; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Zaidee A. Scott, of Springfield, Mass., and Mrs. Marvin Yount, of Mulberry.

The services were held in Detroit, Tuesday afternoon. The remains were brought to Clarks Hill, where commitment services, in charge of the Rev. E. E. Kuhn, were held at 11 o'clock Thursday, at the Clark cemetery at Clarks Hill.
