Mrs. Alice Sickler, a sister of Mrs. John Hart and Mrs. Marvin Yundt, died at the home of a daughter at Zionsville, Sunday, after a long illness. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Scott, of Tippecanoe county, and in early life was a teacher in both Tippecanoe and Clinton counties.

She had been a resident of Indianapolis 47 years, where she was prominently identified with church, literary and charity work. She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Bender, and four sisters, Mrs. Yundt, Mrs. Hart, Mrs. Jesse Derrick, of Detroit, and Miss Zardiee Scott, of Springfield, Mass.
