RITES SUNDAY FOR MRS. W. E. SMITH
A large number of friends attended funeral services for Mrs. W. E. Smith yesterday afternoon at the Geddes Funeral Home.
Rev. L. P. Sweetland, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, conducted the rites and Mrs. John Boge(?) accompanied by Miss Florence Kample, sang two numbers. Floral expressions were lovely.
Burial was in Grand Island cemetery with Fred Roenfeldt, Chris Ericksen, W.E. Vogle, C.R. Belpere, Vernon R. Eyehner and Howard J. Smith as pallbearers.
Attending from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. James George and family of Lexington, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tinker and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson of Cold Water, Kas., Ray Luce, Mrs. True Haselton and Mrs. Marie Campbell of Sterling, Colo., Mrs. J T. Smith and family of Kearney and Arthur Hulgren of Omaha.
