Henry Cramer, son of Michael and Nancy (Welch) Cramer was born on Oct 2, 1861 in Inwood, Marshall County, Indiana. At the young age of 3, is father dies. Nancy could neither read nor write, but determined that son Henry was educated. At the age of 25 in 1886, he was a school teacher near Inwood. The same year he marries 18 years young Miss Estella Mann, daughter of Jasper Mann and Julia (White) Mann. Tragedy strikes the family six months later on Oct 19, Henry is taken by typhoid fever in Plymouth, Indian. On Jan 14, 1887 was the birth of his daughter Julia Henrietta. The family stayed close to Estella’s parents, until she married William Andrew Sellers in Niles, Michigan on Jan 8, 1890 by Justice of the Peace, David Bacon. To this union was born three children: Ethel in Ottawa, IL; Mary in Montana and Lulu in Chicago, IL. After the death of Andrew in 1931, Estella would spend time between her daughters. Estella at the age of 70 took her last breath on Oct 20, 1938 at the home of her daughter Etta. (Edited & updated for content)
