Mrs Anne Mauseth was born on July 12, 1884 in Holmes City Township, Douglas County, Minnesota, the daughter of Mr and Mrs S O Femrite. She was baptized in the Trysil Lutheran Church and confirmed by Rev Jensen in the Trysil Lutheran Church on September 25, 1898. On March 31, 1905 she was united in marriage to Ole Mauseth in Trysil Lutheran Church by Rev B A Benson. After their marriage, Mr and Mrs Mauseth, farmed in the Holmes City area. For a short time they resided in Mexico and later on Montana, before returning to the Farwell community. Mr Mauseth preceded her in death on April 26, 1918. For over forty years Mrs Mauseth continued her residence in Farwell when she moved to Fort Worth, Texas to make her home with her daughter and son, where she passed away on Saturday, April 3, 1971 at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by two daughters and three sons; Gladys (Mrs Spencer Hedeen) of Salem, Oregon; Arthur B Mauseth of Salem, Oregon; Kenneth O Mauseth of Fargo, North Dakota; Orville A Mauseth of Fort Worth, Texas; Gena S Mauseth of Fort Worth, Texas; also surviving are ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday, April 7, 1971 at 2 pm at the Farwell Lutheran Church, Farwell, Minn, Rev Russell Dudero officiating.

Pall bearers were Rodney Femrite, Arthur Isackson, Luther Femrite, Luther Myhr, Dennis Johnson and Ronald Wrolson.

Music was by Mrs Donald Olson, accompanied by Mrs Ray Bennett who sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "How Great Thou Art". Interment was at Trysil Cemetery.
