Trysil-Bethesda Cemetery is located on County Road 26 in Section 22, T127N, R39W in Holmes City township, Douglas County Minnesota.
The Trysil Lutheran Church and cemetery was established on August 28, 1870 by immigrants from Trysil, Hedmark, Norway who settled in Holmes City township beginning in 1867. The cemetery was laid out on a hillside south of the church. In 1900 additional land for burials was donated on the north side of the church and called Bethesda. On April 1, 1962 the church was dissolved, due to declining membership. The building was dismantled and the church bell is preserved on the site as a memorial.
