Fenton—Vernetta Camille "Camy" West 68, died at 8:20 a.m. May 26, 2011, at Bench Nursing Center in Festus.
Born Nov. 20, 1942, in Blodgett, to the late Elmer and Ola Forrest West, she had been a sales clerk at a convemience store. She lived most of her life in the St. Louis area.
She had been married in Chris Bargetzi.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law. Maury and Laura Bargetzi of Fenton: two daughters, Tammy Harlen of Warrenton and Vicki Bargetzi of Troy; one brother, Maurice (Evie) West of Defiance; five grandchildren. Christian Bargetzi, Deanna Bargetzi, Ryan Lyons, Kayla Bargetzi and Cody Ventimiglia; and one great-grandson, Tyler Bargetzi.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. John Givens, pastor at Potter House Ministries, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sikeston City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Bargetzi, Ryan Lyons, Cody Venitmiglia, Jeff West, Steven West, Rich Wolfmeier and Arthur Ashcraft.
