Wendy Lynn Christ, age 45, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Richmond, VA on January 26, 1966.
She lived in Virginia until 1978 when she moved to Bremerhaven, Germany with her parents. She graduated from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, IN in 1984. After graduation Wendy moved back to Virginia and then to North Carolina in her early adulthood.
She married her husband, Paul, on March 20, 2004 and moved to Harrison, Arkansas. She loved going to see her grandma Hyatt in North Carolina and her many aunts and cousins. Her real love was spending time at the Outer Banks and seeing many of her friends there. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Luther and Reba Hyatt and John and Hazel Shady; two uncles, Bobby Hyatt and Ronnie Hyatt.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Paul Christ; her parents, Darrell (Shad) and Judy Hyatt Shady; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service was held at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, N.C. with Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating. Burial followed at Ivey Family Cemetery in Proctorville, NC.

She is the daughter of Darrell (Shad) and Judy Shady from Princeton, Iowa. The funeral was held on May 25, 2011, at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton, N.C. She was buried at the Ivey Family Cemetery in Proctorville, N.C.
