"MORTUARY
Mrs. Nancy Cornelia Taylor

Mrs. Nancy Cornelia Taylor, aged 74, died this morning at her home on East 1st South street after a prolonged illness. Funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from Adriel church, conducted by Rev. Thos. Noe. Interment will be in the church yard. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Bettie Black of this city; Mrs. Dora Loving of Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs Rosa Meek of County Line Tenn.; Mrs. Halcy Talbott of Talbott, Tenn.; Mr. R. C. Taylor of Knoxville; Mr. Roscoe Taylor of Akron, Ohio, and Mr. Wm. A. Taylor of this city.

Mrs. Taylor had been a member of the County Line Baptist church most of her life, and she was well known, and her many friends will regret to learn of her death."

Gravesite Details

Grave was removed from Adriel Baptist Church Cemetery and reinterred here by TVA in 1941. Consent for removal was given by daughters Rosa Taylor Meek and Betty Taylor Black. Grave is not marked.
