Irene Moore Hendrickson, age 77, of Rush, Ky., died December 4, 2005, in King's Daughters Medical Center.

Mrs. Hendrickson was born November 20, 1928, in Boyd County, Ky., and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Essie Whitely Moore.

She was a homemaker and attended Straight Creek Nazarene Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Taylor Hendrickson, seven brothers, and three sisters.

Surviving are a brother, Bob Moore and his wife, Myrtle, of Boyd County, several nieces and nephews, and a very special friend and caregiver, Alberta Ferguson of Cannonsburg, Ky.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland, by the Rev. Gary Salyers. Burial will be in Cribbs Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at the funeral home.
