Funeral services for Clora Harvill, 71 of Turkey Blind Road, Crossville, who passed away June 10, 1997 in Cumberland Medical Center, were held June 13 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home with burial in Lovejoy Cemetery in Monterey.
She was born July 23, 1925 in Overton County, the daughter of Ambrose and Ollie House Murphy. Mrs. Harvill was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, John Harvill of Crossville; daughter, Edith Compton of Crossville; sons, Jim Harvill of New Weston, Ohio; Ron Harvill of Crossville, and Gerald Harvill of Carlisle, Penn.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Flora Hargis of Crossville and Roxie Hoover of Hanging Limb, Tenn.; and brother Roscoe Murphy of Green Pond, Tenn.
Pallbearers were John Harvill, Brian Harvill, Bill Harvill, Jimmy Harvill, Derrick Harvill and Jeremy Harvill. The Rev. Hoyt Looper officiated.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
