Norma McElroy Martin, born March 1, 1929, passed peacefully from this life at age 82, on Friday, May 20, 2011 at her home in Bellefonte.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rue (Sherrill) McElroy of Snowball. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 63 years, Delmar H. "Shorty" Martin and her three sisters, Nadine McCutcheon and husband, Cecil of Tioga, La., Shirley Phillips and husband, Hubert of Harrison and Laveda Curtis and husband, Donald of Harrison; brother-in-law, Delbert Martin of Harrison; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 23, in the chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home, Harrison. Officiating at the funeral service will be the Rev. Roy Barnhill and the Rev. Kevin Cox. Following the service, interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
