She was born in Cass County, Michigan, September 24, 1883. She graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana in 1904.
She moved to Manhattan in 1905 and taught school in the rural schools of the area.
She homesteaded and made improvements on her land west of Manhattan from 1905 to 1915.
Survivors include three daughters, Muriel Larson of Milwaukee, Oregon, Dorothy Morgan of Manhattan and Eloise Clinton of Vancouver, Washington; two sons, Floyd E. of Manhattan and William G. of Missoula; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday at the Meadowview Cemetery in Manhattan.
