Fidel Balderas, 80, born in Los Ramones, NL, passed away on May 22, 2011 after fighting his illness for 3 years. He retired from his business ( La Carreta Mexican Restaurant) of over 30 years. His passion in life was hunting. He is preceded in death by his father; Cipriano Balderas, mother; Juanita Abrego Balderas, brothers; Santos and Trinidad, and sister Antonia Balderas. He is survived by his loving wife of 56yrs, Clara Balderas and daughters; Rose Balderas, Nelda (Florentino) Ortega, Dolores (Kenneth) Anderson, and Clarita (Candelario) Sanchez. Grandchildren; Kenneth, Jason, Joseph Anderson, Jennifer Rivas, Michael Juarez, Christopher Gonzales, Andrew Balderas, Nicholas Sanchez, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Simona and Elvira Balderas. Pallbearers will be his 6 grandsons. Honorary pallbearer will be Nicky. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 5 to 9pm in the Main Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with a Rosary to begin at 7:30pm. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at La Divina Providencia Mission, 7913 Munn St., Houston TX., 77029, at 11am. Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
