Nancy Nelle Wallace White of Frisco, Colorado died April 4, 2004.
Nancy was born on June 4, 1925 on the family farm outside of Rugby, Texas to George Henry and Edna Earle Christian Wallace. She was the seventh of eight children.
Her family later moved to Wellington where Nancy worked at a bank after graduating from Wellington High School with the Class of 1942. She married Kelly White in 1946 upon his return from the service. In the 1952 the couple moved to Frisco, Colorado. She was employed at both the Frisco and Dillon Post Offices from 1959 until she retired her post in January 1977.
She was known to be an avid bowler and a very fine fisherwoman. Camping and fishing outings were things she enjoyed sharing with family members from Colorado and Texas.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Kelly White; her parents, George Henry Wallace and Edna Earle Christian Wallace; five brothers: Lyman Wallace, henry Wallace, Billie Wallace, Evnyl and Meryl Wallace and one sister, Mary Alyce McCarver.
She is survived by one sister Bessie Clark and her husband Orval of Fort Worth; sisters-in-law Eloise Wallace of Huntington, WV; Helen Foote of Frisco, CO; Peggy White and Joanna Thomason of Wellington; and numerous nieces and nephews in Texas and Colorado.
