WIDOW OF THE LATE WILLIAM STONEBRAKER AND MOTHER OF FIVE CHILDREN, HAS BREATHED HER LAST
Hagerstown, Ind., Jan. 25--After an illness of several months Mrs. Amanda Stonebraker, widow of the lat William Stonebraker, died last night at the age of 73 years. she is survived by four daughters and one son, as follows: Mrs. Clair Swift, of Chicago; Mrs. William Hindman, of New Castle; Mrs. Dora Martin and Mrs. Arch Hindman, of Hagerstown, and John Stonebraker, of Frankfort. They funeral will be at the Christian Church, but the time has not been set. Burial will be in West Lawn cemetery.

Mrs. Stonebraker was born and reared in Henry county. She was a prominent member of the Christian Church and leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss.

MRS. STONEBRAKER PASSED AWAY
Mrs. Amanda Stonebraker, widow of the late William Stonebraker, passed away at her home on South Washington street, Friday night, near 12 o'clock. Mrs. Stonebraker had been in declining health for several months, being confined to her bed much of the time. She wa able to be about the home Friday, although suffering from weakness, but was taken violently. ill at near 9 o'clock, and passed away a short time before midnight, aged 73 years.

Mrs. Stonebraker lived all her married life in Hagerstown. She was of a lovable disposition and had a word of cheer for all whom she met. She is survived by four daughters and one son, and are: Mrs. Clara Swift, of Chicago, Mrs. William Hindman, of New Castle, John Stonebraker, of Frankfort, and Mrs. Arch Hindman and Mrs. Dora Martin, both of this place, the latter living with her mother and caring tenderly for her during the many months of her declining health.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Christian Church, Elder Lewis Teeter, assisted by Rev. Warbinton, both close friends of the family, officiating.

Mrs. Warbington, Mrs. Wm. Porter, Mrs. Laura Hines, Messers. Mahon Gebhart and Frank Geisler, with Mrs. Mary Murray at the organ, sang " Some Sweet Day," Jesus, Lover of my Soul" and "I Shall Know Him."

The pallbearers were Hugh Allen, John Hartley, John Geisler, sr., Henry Keagy, Bennett Weaver and Charles Knapp.

Interrment[sic] was made in West Lawn, by the side of the husband, who passed away two years since.

Among those attending the funeral from a distance were Frank Stonebraker, of Memphis, Tenn., Charles Stonebraker, of Chicago, Mrs. Clara Swift, of Chicago, Mrs. Harry Williams and daughter, Mrs. Holden, of Indianapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Parsons and Miss Mollie Holler, Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hindman and daughter, of New Castle, John Stonebraker and daughter Mabell, of Frankfort, Miss Margaret Jewett, of Muncie and Mrs. Omer Cox, of New Castle.

Among the floral decorations was a very large piece of magnificent American Beauty roses, the gift of Frank and Charles Stonebraker.
