Mrs. Charlotte Bingham, 89,
died Sunday at her home, 3706
Sixteenth street.
Mrs. Bingham was born in
Lake county, Ill., Oct. 9, 1853, and
came to Racine in 1923. Her
husband, Charles L. Bingham,
who died in 1913, was a Civil war
veteran.
Mrs. Bingham was the oldest
member of the Veterans of For-
eign War's auxiliary, and attended
the Grange Avenue Methodist
church.
Survivors are three sons, Ed-
win and Homer of Racine and
Franklin of Exeland, Wis.; a
daughter, Mrs. Laura Flansburg,
of Spokane; a sister, Mrs. Hattie
Ragan of Venice, Calif.; nine
grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.
m. Wednesday in the H. H. Hall
home for funerals, with Rev.
Granville M. Calhoun officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral
home after 7 tonight and until
service time. The body will be
sent Wednesday to Nekoosa, Wis.,
where funeral services will be
held Thursday.

Funeral services were conducted
by the Rev. C. A. O'Neill at the
Congregational church in Nekoosa
on Thursday afternoon for Mrs.
Lottie Bingham, 89, a former resi-
dent of central Wisconsin and the
oldest Wisconsin member of the
Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign
Wars, who died Sunday at the home
of her son Homer in Racine. Inter-
ment was in the Joslin cemetery in
Armenia.
At services conducted in Racine,
a flag was draped upon the casket
by members of the Racine unit...
Mrs. Bingham was born in Warren,
Ill., on October 9, 1853, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Watson
Lee Warner. She and her husband
homesteaded in the town of Ar-
menia, Juneau county, in 1884,
where their youngest son was born
and where they resided until 1913.
Mr. Bingham, a veteran of the Civil
war, preceded her in death in 1914.
