Clarence G. Avery of Birch Run passed away Sunday evening, April 11, 1971, at St. Luke's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Age 63 years. He was born May 6. 1907 in Sebewaing and had resided in the Frankenmuth area for the past 35 years. He married Carrie Demming in Sebewaing in 1930. She survives him. He had been employed as a mechanic for Schaefer and Bierlein for 13 years and in the parts department of the Schumann Farm Equipment Co. for the past nine years.
Surviving besides his wife, are one son, Robert Avery, Birch Run; eight grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters, Floyd Avery and Harold Avery, both of Reese; Mrs. Armour Coates, Davison; Mrs. Alfred Tepper, Taylor, Mich. Mrs. Joseph Schwartz, and Miss Blanche Avery, both of Sebewaing. Two daughters, Mrs. Clinton Stafford and Miss Cleo Avery, predecesed him.....
Parents were Seth Adelbert Avery and Marie Louisa Schuch
