MARION - Johnson Bascom Collins, 59, died Monday in a Marion hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Cox-Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Tabernacle Cemetery.
Mr. Collins was born in Marion County, a son of the late Cicero and Mary Ellen Turbeville Collins. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Clark Collins of Marion; four sons, J. T. Collins of Gresham, Wade Collins, Henry Leo Collins and Wayne Collins, all of Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Howell (Sarah) White of Marion and Mrs. Thomas (Gale) Van Gordey of Marion; a brother, Clyde Collins of Marion; and 9 grandchildren.
