: Mrs. Bert Campbell, 72, RR 1, Jonesboro, died in Marion Thursday, Oct. 4, following a heart attack at 10:15 a.m. at a beauty school. She was taken to Davis Clinic where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary in July. She was a member of the Matthews Methodist Church and the Jolly Social Club. Survivors include the husband; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Shear and Mrs. Lawrence Hamilton, Wabash; Mrs. Burl Atkinson, Dayton; Mrs. Charles Slater, Marion; and Mrs. Lester Campbell, Summitville; five sons, Lloyd, Anderson; Everett, Williamsburg; Earl, Royal Center; Dan, RR 1, Jonesboro; and Bert, Fort Lee, Va.; 34 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A daughter, Doris Campbell, passed away in 1944. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 76, in Matthews Methodist Church with the Rev. Ford Stidham officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery. Hunt's Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
