"Bill" attended schools in Post. In 1936 he moved to the South Plains community. He served in the Army during WW2. He was a farmer and later worked in maintenance at Mangold Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lockney Senior Citizens and South Plains Baptist Church. He married Joe Farmer in 1955 at Floydada. She died in 1974.
