My great great grandmother Asabella (aka Bella and Belle), was the daughter of Magdalena "Lany" (Loucks) and John Mansfield of Fort Plain, Montgomery County, New York. Like Belle, her mother had a few nicknames including Lana.

Sister of Byana/Byaney, Eugene, and William Mansfield.

Belle married Charles Pauth in New York. They lived in Little Falls where they reared their family of 5 children. Mother of Anna (Pauth) Leon, Eugene, Alvie (various spellings, aka George Ferguson), Miner, and Eunice (Pauth) Goodrich.

Belle is buried at the Wilcox Cemetery next to Charles. The cemtery is located in the back of the Slovak Cemetery in Little Falls, NY. The Wilcox Cemetery was also known as the Rural Grove Cemetery in 1899.

Mrs Charles Pauth, an esteemed resident of this city, died at her home on Skinner Street last evening of dropsy. She was 47 years of age. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tommorow, the Rev. Mr. Munro officiating. Interment in the Rural Grove Cemetery. A husband, two sons, and a daughter survive.
