Frank Kenneth Copeland, 60, of rural Moberly, MO., formerly of Mattoon, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Medical Center in Columbia, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with Rev. Ernie Henson officiating. Burial will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Copeland was born Aug. 24, 1912, in Wadsworth, Tex., the son of Frank M. and Fannie Adaline Thomas Copeland. He married Bernadine Carlyle Sept. 26, 1931.

Surviving are his widow; a son, James of rural Moberly, MO.; two brothers, Richard and Rodney, both of Mattoon; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Ellen Reid of Mattoon and Mrs. Effie Gamble of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and a grandson, Timothy Ray of Moberly.

Mr. Copeland was a farmer. He lived in Mattoon until 1956, when he moved to Missouri.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services for Frank Kenneth Copeland were held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mitchell-Jerden Funeral Home with Rev. Ernie Henson officiating. Burial was in Dodge Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Cecil Barrow organist, played several organ selections including, "Life's Railway to Heaven," "Beyond the Sunset" and "Abide With Me."

Pallbearers were Rick Copeland, Gene and Richard Reid, Dale and Lawrence Annis and James Brewster.

The body will be taken to the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home in Mattoon, where services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Dodge Grove Cemetery at Mattoon."
