MATTOON -- Paul C. Harding, 77, died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2004 at his home in Mattoon, IL. Paul Clinton Harding was born July 25, 1927, son of Clinton P. and Ora Bigler Harding. He grew up in rural Sigel. He married Juanita Storm in 1948 and they had six children: Sheila Drake, Sharon Harding, Steven Harding, Stanley Harding, Sandra Keene, and Susan Harding. In 2004 he married Janice Shumbarger. Mr. Harding farmed for many years. He also had been employed by Blaw Knox in Mattoon. He owned and operated Paul's C. B. Sales & Service from 1968 to 2004. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Mattoon Eagles Club. He enjoyed camping tremendously. Graveside services will be held at Dodge Grove Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2004. There will be no visitation. Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice. Mr. Harding is survived by his wife Janice, his six children, their mother, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one sister.
