May (Walsh) Conniff passed away May 16, 2010, surrounded by loving family members.
May was born on Oct. 1, 1924, a daughter of John and Anna Walsh and married the love of her life Robert C. Conniff on Oct. 10, 1947. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert and infant daughter Kathleen.
She leaves behind sons, James III (Nancy), Robert C. II, Augustine, Kevin, Timothy (Amy); daughters Patricia Walker, May Poppick and Nanci Conniff (Ken); grandchildren Holly Walker, Heather Walker, James Conniff IV, Kyle Conniff, Sarah, Aaron Poppick, Kerry Conniff, Kathleen Conniff, Nathan Cauvet, Ryn Conniff and one great grandchild Ryleigh Conniff.
May was a gentle person who always greeted with a smile and a hug; she saw the best in everyone. We miss her, but are joyful that she is by her husband's side.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 9:30 a.m. a St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport with Msgr. Stephen D. McGough officiating and burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville.
A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
