Richard B. Almaraz, born in Needles, California, passed away on September 26, 2006 at the age of 72. He is survived by his life time partner, Barbara Castillo of Grand Terrace; brothers, Ernest of Grand Terrace, Gus Almaraz of Austin Texas and Ramiro of Sacramento, step-sons, Paul and Gilbert Castillo, step-daughters-in-law, Sylvia and Susie Castillo, four grandchildren and one great-grandson and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed. He was one of kind. His life motto was "He did the best with what he had." Services are set to be at the Colton Funeral Home with private burial to follow.
