Parents Reuben Clymer born Guilford Co, NC & Mary "Polly" Hines-Williams-Climer born Guilford Co, NC. Siblings Jane & George Climer are ½ sister & brother her father's 1st marriage to Elizabeth Heath. John W, Rebecca, Frank & twins Saphronia and Livena Climer/Clymer are full bro/sis. Then Mary's 1st marriage children are Mary & Tabatha Williams who are also ½ sisters to Sarah. Reuben and twin brother Noah Maroney Climer were orphans. They were raised by grandfather John Climer. They were placed by the court in his care until they reached 21. They were taught the trade of a cooper, to read and write, cipher to the 3rd level, each given $75, two suits of clothes, a horse, bridle, saddle when they became of age. Reuben was in Illinois during the Civil War and brother Noah was in North Carolina. Two brothers split by war.
