Nellie M. White, 78, Ogden, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital. She was born October 16, 1917, in Chandler, and grew up in the Chandler Community, attending the local public schools. She married Leslie J. White in 1941 in Stillwater, Okla. He survives of the home. Mrs. White worked as a nurse's aide at the Geary County Community Hospital, Junction City, for many years. She retired in 1982. She had been a resident of Ogden since 1951, moving from Holton. She is survived by a brother, Roy T. Anderson, Stillwater, five nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Ogden Bible Church, Ogden, with the Rev. John Kizzee officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Ogden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ogden Bible Church and left in care of the Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, Manhattan. The family of Mrs. White will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
