Suggested edit: I found an old bible record (not an original) that stated Rosamond Carter d/o Thomas Carter & Mary Elizabeth Morgan married James Dickenson s/o Henry Dickenson & Agnes Jennings on 31st of Aug 1803.

Suggested edit: Rosamond Carter was born circa 1766, a daughter of Lieutenant Thomas Carter, who with Henry Dickenson was a delegate from Virginia to the Constitutional Convention. Rosamond married Henry's son, James Dickenson and became early settlers in Russell County, Virginia, founded January 2, 1786. Source: https://www.familysearch.org/photos/artifacts/118666846
