Survived by wife, Mrs. Verda Nelms of Dallas; one son, Abbott Horace Nelms of Elko, Nevada; one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Nelms King of Dallas; one brother, Ed Nelms of Leander, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Tyson of Dallas and Mrs. J. W. Kibler of Compton, California. Funeral services at the chapel of Bower Undertaking Co. at 2 p. m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Wesley V. Hite, associate pastor of Highland Park Methodist Church, officiating. Active pallbearers: R. I. Tyson, J. E. Tyson, Jr., R. N. Tyson, Roy Lemons, Curtiss Hall, and Lynn Morris. Interment in Grove Hill Cemetery.
