Sallie and James had been living in Dallas at the time of their deaths where he was employed by Sun Oil Company. They apparently were buried in Waco because they had children who lived in Waco as well as Austin.
There is some uncertainty by this biographer regarding her middle name. According to the Tyson Genealogy Working Group (chaired by Jerry Barton Tyson of Georgetown) who published a Tyson Family History in 1995, her middle name was Beatrice. The typed record on her death certificate had Nell as her middle name. However, Nell had been marked through and in handwriting the name Barton penciled in.
