Fred Anderson - Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 26 at 2pm in Olmsteads Chapel for Fred R Anderson of Rose Bud, who passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock on Sunday, May 23 1976. Mr Anderson was the son of Christopher A and Mary (Meharg) Anderson and was born in Russell County, Kansas, Oct 16 1908, but he had made his home in the Rose Bud community for the past 16 years. He was a Baptist by faith, was a veteran of WW2, and was by trade a farmer at the time of his death at age 67. He is survived by his wife, Disie Mallonee Anderson of Rose Bud; two daughters, Mrs Fern Booth of Russell Kansas, and Mrs Helen L Carney of Abilene Kansas; two brothers, Chris Anderson of Oklahoma and Arnie Anderson of Russell and one sister, Tora Rock, also of Kansas. He is survived by four grandchildren besides other relatives and friends. Services were conducted by Rev Dana Whitfield and interment was in the Sidon Cemetery by Olmstead Funeral Service.
