Nathaniel R. Wood, for twenty years a residence of Canandaigua, died at Willard State Hospital on Monday afternoon, aged 69 years. He was a carpenter by trade, but had been in ill health for several years past. He was a veteran of the late war, having served in Company K, 1st New York Volunteer Dragoons. Mr. Wood leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Wheldon of Atwood, Colorado. The funeral services were held Wednesday at his late home on West Gibson street, interment being at Woodlawn.
